Dance Prop Classes

Small Business Saturday offer!


Is someone looking for an experience gift for Christmas? We are offering specials on two different short-term dance props classes. Special rates available until Christmas only.


We will be in the studio tomorrow (Saturday, November 30) for Small Business Saturday from 10am to 2pm. Those who purchase in person tomorrow will receive a pretty postcard that can be given to the recipient. We can take cash, checks, or cards.


Dance Props Class ages 4-8, no experience required. 6 week session.


The class will meet Thursdays from 4:00-4:45pm, starting January 9.


The class will be open to boys and girls, ages 4-8, and will run for six weeks through January and February. If you are already a student at Trinity Dance and taking a regular ballet class, the cost is $40. If you are new to the studio and this is the only class you will be taking, the cost is $80. This is the total cost for the whole six weeks.


The class will be a general dance and coordination focus. You will find elements of ballet, jazz, lyrical, and a little tumbling. Some of the props we will be using are hoops, yoga mats and dots, musical props like bells, shakers, and rhythm sticks, scarves and ribbons, teddy bears, and dress up accessories. The goal for these classes is to teach children coordination skills, rhythm and musicality, body control, core strength, and creativity. This is a great standalone class, or a fun addition to your technical ballet class.


There is no uniform necessary for this class. Students simply wear clothing that they can move in!


The class will NOT be participating in our spring recital. If you want to be part of spring recital, we recommend using this as an additional class.


Dance Props Conditioning Class, ages 9+, current dance experience required. 12 week session.


This class will meet Thursdays from 4:00-5:00pm, starting March 5, 2020.


The cost for this class is $150 for the whole 12 weeks. All equipment and props are provided for the students to use during class.


This class is open to boys and girls, ages 9 and up, who are currently dancing in a weekly class (Does not need to be enrolled at Trinity Dance). This class is beneficial to dancers of all genres, and seeks to improve core strength, posture, arm shape and strength, balance, flexibility, extension, turns and jumps. Some of the props we may be using are: Large, medium, and small exercise balls, foam rollers, pilates rings, resistance bands, ankle / wrist weights, yoga blocks, mats, blankets, and bosu balance trainers. 


There is no uniform necessary for this class. Students simply wear clothing that they can move in!
