Summer Classes

Classes are listed from youngest age groups to oldest.

All classes depend on enrollment. A class or workshop may be cancelled if the minimum enrollment is not reached.

Mommy and Me Dance / Tumbling

This class is a great way to introduce your toddler to dance / tumbling classes in a way that makes them feel safe and have a good time. Each student must be accompanied by an adult helper, who does the class alongside them. We will explore different types of movement, as well as introduce little ones to the class structure. The age requirement is fluid, but probably 18m-3 years old is the best age range.

Ballet Teacher Training
Ages: 16+

Beginner-Advanced

Fee: $125 per week, or $300 for all 3 weeks.

Add on: curriculum, skill cards, and opportunity to practice: $100 per week. (Adds the extra Friday class, plus all my curriculum materials)

I am really excited to host a teacher training for the first time ever! This is open to anyone interested in learning more about teaching different age groups. The series is focused on ballet, but many of the concepts would help other dance styles as well.

If you have some dance experience, and would love to learn more from a teacher's standpoint, and give you the opportunity to teach in a studio setting, this is a great class to take.

The 3-day workshop each week includes guidelines for the age / level, class structure, skills and ideas, step breakdowns, corrections, plus helpful tools for evaluating your students. I am drawing on 20+ years of teaching ballet and owning a successful ballet school. I believe in being a perpetual student, so I am continually learning and growing my own knowledge!

I am actively looking for substitute teachers for all levels, as well as new teachers in my studio. Taking this class will put you in the right place to join our dance family as an instructor.

August 15-19- Beginner / Intermediate levels

August 22-26- Advanced / Pointe

Classes are held Mon, Tues, Wed, with curriculum / practice on Friday. All classes are in the evenings, after 5:30pm.
